Member Types

The Professional Photographers of Santa Clara Valley offers the following member types:

 

Active Professional ($135/yr)

An individual who, on a regular basis, takes and sells photographs for profit. Must satisfy federal, state, and local license requirements. Requires submission of Business License Number and City.

 

Active Professional PPA Member ($120/yr)

Same as Active Professional, but also a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), which qualifies for a $15 discount.

 

Aspiring - Professional ($135/yr)

An individual engaged in a primary occupation other than photography, but aspiring to become an Active Professional Photographer. They may not hold office, do not have voting privileges.

 

Aspiring - Professional PPA Member ($120/yr)

Same as Aspiring - Professional, but also a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), which qualifies for a $15 discount.

 

Aspiring - Non Professional ($135/yr)

An individual interested in photography, seeking to advance their skills, not necessarily professionally but perhaps as serious hobby or art. Open to everyone.

Aspiring – Student with Student ID ($50/yr)

A full-time student studying photography or related visual arts.

All members of the Professional Photographers of Santa Clara Valley subscribe to the PPSCV Code of Ethics.
